Every year, Classics for All puts a different figure from the ancient world on trial, from Socrates to Antigone, Alexander the Great to Cicero, we’ve had many well-known ancient figures in the dock since the event first launched in 2015.
This October, Classics for All put Medea in the dock. The trial was presided over by Lord Lloyd Jones (Justice of the Supreme Court). Jane Bickerstaff KC and Max Hardy acted as counsel for the prosecution, and Mark Heywood KC and Kathryn Arnot Drummond for the defence.
